Campbell, CA (January 23, 2006) - Groupware Technology, Inc., a growing information technology solution provider, formally announced the promotions of two key management team members who have been instrumental in the company's extraordinary growth at its national sales meeting in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The management team, led by Mike Thompson, Anthony Miley and Scott Sutter, completed an acquisition of the Bay area company in the first quarter of 2005. In less than nine months, Groupware announced that it had increased 2005 revenue by 1550% over its 2004 revenue of $2 million, taking the company to a remarkable $31 million in total revenue for 2005. The company invited its employees and partners to celebrate its 2005 successes and discuss 2006 growth plans in Cabo San Lucas this past weekend.
 
Anthony Miley, a key player in the revenue growth, has been promoted to Vice President of Strategic Operations. In this role, Miley will continue to secure and support strategic business relationships. In support of these relationships, Miley is chartered with building a tactical infrastructure to enable the company to meet and exceed the expectations of its growing customer base. Mike Thompson stated, "Anthony has had great success in continually delivering on commitments to customers". As a senior member of the management team, Anthony will also help to set the vision and direction for the company to meet growth goals.
 
Groupware also announced this week the promotion of Scott Sutter to Vice President of Sales. As Director of Sales, Scott has demonstrated his ability to guide the sales team to success in delivering comprehensive solutions to its customer using strategic selling techniques. In his new role, Scott will be responsible for leading the sales team in new customer acquisition and strategic account penetration. In addition to his sales management role, Scott will be responsible for the growth and development of internal and external selling relationships and will help the management team execute on its growth and expansion plans.
 
Mike Thompson, President and CEO of Groupware, will work closely with Anthony Miley and Scott Sutter to help drive the steadfast company to become one of the premier solution providers on the West Coast. The company expects to see continued growth in systems, storage and data center solutions and will continue to expand its product and service offering in 2006.
